Headlight problem

Last night while driving I noticed that my driver side headlight was out. I stop and check the bulb and connection and everything looks ok. The light works when the high beams are on, just not the low beams. Even funnier, when the car is off and you unlock it via the remote, both headlights work normally. Only when the car is running the driver's side headlight doesn't work. I am assuming that this is going to be some sort of electrical problem but wanted to see if anyone here had the same problem with theirs?

Try replacing the bulb. Cheap and easy to narrow down the problem. If that doesn't work, take it to a dealer

When you press the keyfob and the lights turn on, it's the highbeams.

Headlight bulbs are dual-element... meaning they have two coils that put off light. The one for low beams probably just went out... quick fix.

DO NOT REPLACE THE BULBS!!! I had this fixed last week after 3 bulbs on the driver side "blew" in a month. There is a loose pin connector in the clip for the wiring. They will replace it under warrenty and it's about a 20min thing. Trust me, if your high still works, it is the wiring harness having a loose pin in it.
