pics of GM performance exhaust install 56k beware

here are some pics of my exhaust (GM performance) i put on yesterday.. the install was pretty easy..

here it is waiting to be installed


here comes the fun part the work.. ok time to cut off the old muffler with a recipricating saw..



bye bye u p.o.s. lol




heres the resignator.. it was frustrating to get the old piping off, after that it was cake



here is the new muffler (after installing the resignator and intermediate piping)



everything was in place and ready for action in like 30 mins.. i love the sound

Looks great.. Yea cutting off the stock muffler is a pain in the ass. I had to use a cut-off wheel and a grinder.

the hard part was getting off the old piping its such a tight fit. i had to cut it in two places

yeah i used a saws-all to cut my stock exhaust worked well, but looks good!!!

Looks great! If you're serious about keeping it on for a while, I would definately suggest taking it somewhere to be welded up for the best fit and reliability...
