Cobalt Radiator Grille Lower 15773841 Fits SS S/C?

If you look at the pictures of the 2006 SS and the SS/SC on this site, the side by side comparison, I see the SS/SC still has the opening without a grille, where the plain SS has the grill? Maybe my eyes are getting crossed, but the sizes of the opening look different between the 2.
One of the vendors is listing the grille for sale as mentioned in the title.

Can anyone confirm if this will just snap into the Supercharged SS lower opening?

having seen both in person, i think the difference may be that the ss s/c has the little lip spoiler piece, and the "cheater" ss doesn't. when i saw the two together, they looked the same, i can't see them making two fascias with such a slight difference when they could just take the chin off.

I just called my dealer up here in Canada, and my shop price was 90 bucks for the OEM Grill. Keep in mind thats in Canadian dollars. US that would be around 65 I think?

You can buy it from a forum vendor for 50 bucks I believe here, but by the time you add on shipping and the brokerage fee, it would come out to the same price. I would imagine it would come in a fairly large box too.

Order it from yoru dealer, save the shipping hassels etc, it almost comes out to the same price!

Mine cost me $47 but I get a discount at my local dealer too.

List price was around $65.

Some people don't like it some do, I myself think it looks good. It matches the upper grille in material and appearance and snaps in so removing it is a breeze.

Unless you have a 2006 VIN you won't be able to find it.

I have a 2006 VIN but I need to find it.

Mine snapped right in.

Did you try putting one side in at a time?

Where did everyone get their grille?
GMpartsdirect doesn't have it. I'd like to order the grille and pedals at the same time if possible.
