A few questions...
A few questions...
I was curious to know if you guys had any tips about preventative maintenence. I had a 99 Cavy before this and it always seemed to be helped out by some fuel injector/system cleaner or the like every once in a while. I realize my car is new (5k miles) and shouldnt need something like this, but this is my first forced induction car and have not had much experience with high boost engines. Is there anything I can do to ensure the long, healthy, hopefully high horsepower life of my engine?
Also, Ive noticed that if I hit the brakes very hard it sounds like my passenger rear tire area makes clunking noises while the car is moving but then stops when I apply brake pressure. This will happen for about 10 minutes after I apply hard braking pressure, but it has happened once or twice before just randomly. Anyone else experienced this or have any ideas about what it is?
Lastly, I have been reading on here about how terrible it is where I live (south Florida) to get good runs with our cars. I have been wondering what is the whole truth about this story? The average temp here has been like 90 with 60-80% humidity. What does this mean in terms of power output and tire traction? Is it better for it to be colder to hopefully make more HP or is it better for it to be warmer to get better traction, etc. I suppose my question is when is my car going to be the fastest?
Thanks in advance for reading my book of a post.
Edit: Also, the plastic trim around the sunroof button fell off and will not stay in no matter what I do. Anyone else run into this?
