Since this got locked

Since this post got locked before i ever got a chance to respond (which i dont find fair at all) i am making my own post.
Original

"Alright well last week I ordered two aeroforce guages from an unamed site and the said they had them when I ordered them so I called today because the guages are still not here and they said that the guages were coming shipped direct from manufacturer and that they have not been shipped yet. So I asked the guy on the phone if he had them in stock, he replied yes we have them in stock but the manufacturer prefers to ship straight to the person. now my beef is this DONT TELL SOMEONE YOU HAVE SOMETHING IN STOCK AND THEN TRY AND LIE TO ME ABOUT WHAT THE MANUFACTURER WANTS TO COVER UP YOUR LIES. To all vendors If you don't have something in stock TELL SOMEONE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! God I hate it when some people think your the dumbest ***** ****** in the world. End Rant."

first off

the customer , whom contacted me via PM AFTER this original post contacted us regarding the aeroforce guages. John who answers the phone for us asked kenny "do we have aeroforce guages" kenny said yes because john never specified which guages the customer needed. Do i know whether the customer asked about a specific guage...no i do not because the conversation was between him and john.

John DID NOT LIE to the customer. he was told we had aeroforce in stock...which is true. we carry some in stock which were ordered from the manufacturer but no one has ordered yet...he should have specified which gauge so kenny could tell him but didnt. That is his fault so that is where the problem was. (johns) and he will be made aware that he must be specific to avoid the cunfusion if this happens again.

The order is still within the 10 business day time frame so technically there is no shipping problems as of now.

so other then the minute issue which could have been solved VIA PM FIRST, what is the real issue here?
I already explained, there was a misunderstanding and i also responded to the complaint when it was made.
Before posting if you are confused or you think something is not right, contact me. Do not make a post which then gets people to jump on the bashing bandwagon and THEN PM me just to have me explain something that was a mere misunderstanding.

of the complaints on the site we have received, there are some which were not even relavent because there was either a lack of the customers understanding of what 5-10 business day means, or a shipping issue which was related to UPS damages or something out of our hands such as a manufacturers product. We have offered help to those who have come to us such as letting them know where to make a UPS shipping claim, have answered questions about installation issues, etc., have offered to replace items, discounts on further purchases...so we are not unwilling to help people out.

but everyone is so quick to throw us under the bus because they get instantly angry if they hear something they dont want to. PLEASE AS I HAVE SAID BEFORE, CONTACT ME WITH A PROBLEM! I WILL GET TO THE BOTTOM OF IT!

ON ANOTHER Note:
this has nothing to do with the original poster of the original thread but rather a post from another member in response.

Original post

"They probably have a big show they are going to and are getting the car ready for it. they will be with you when they have time"

i am going to say this because there is a lot of misperception going on. I have bit my tongue for a long time but this needs to be explained.

I am not paid to work for CA, i help out on the boards because i want to A. help you guys out and B. because i love my boyfriend very much and want to help him any way i can because i understand how hard it is to run a business on ones own.
We are not millionaires and we dont run these sites to a. rip people off b. become rich c. gain notoriety....we do it because we love the community and we love cars. but seriously the personal stabs about my car need to stop.

My car WAS NOT DONE FOR FREE. I am a paying customer just like everyone else here. I have worked 2 yrs at 2 jobs and have put ever penny i had into getting parts for this car. so for the comments about my car being done for a show etc etc. is rediculous or that its Cobalt Addictions car is not correct. I am the sole owner of that vehicle. I make the payments, i insure it, and i drive it.
I have been a customer of Audio-XTC well before CA and PA were opened and have known of the company years before i ever became involved.

if a member here has a problem with my car, then come to me. ihave done nothing to disrespect anyone on this site and i expect to be treated the same. the snide remarks which continually are made are childish and lack any credibility.

Thank you.

Couldnt have said it better myself!

People really gotta relax, and maybe taking the time to understand what is really happening should be in order before people open their mouths.

Myself, I havent personally had any dealings with CA, however my gf's sister inlaw bought an Injen intake for her husband, and it was QUICK and the service was great!

Donna, there is only one thing you've done to **** me off. I'm still waiting on more pics of that model! lol

If anyone really wants to yell at someone, maybe I could provide a real reason. If not, please act at least moderately respectful. Geez.

i just want people to be aware that there are simple solutions to problems and i have put myself out there to try and help out of the goodness of my own heart. i am not saying that CA is perfect or that we never make mistakes, im saying that almost everything is an easy fix and that we have given several means of communication to help people.
i have 2 regular jobs, but i still make sure that i watch the boards for issues.
If i cant answer something, then i ask. i am also not 100% perfect and by no means a gear head but i offer to help in ways i know how and that is being a friend and someone you know will try and help.

and shabadoh, its not yelling...its just the fact that my car gets brought into things when its completely irrelevant and unrelated. its a direct insult to everything i have worked so hard for.
thats why i say, if my car bothers someone so much....then take it up with me.

and the model i told you lives somewhere in FL ..she is unsigned. LOL

more like people in general are pathetic...

give companies a chance... it's hard for a small business to accomodate every singe request, and things happen that are outside of their control... but they have to start somewhere... i'm sure they would love to be at the point where they have like 5 guys in the back just picking orders all day... but, until they get to that point, they have to do it themselves... it's very hard to start a business, and you can tell from people's posts who has tried and who hasn't... when i started my company with the other guy i worked 110 hour weeks... not at the one job, i had 2 jobs plus running the company... its HARD to get something really going, takes time, dedication, and a shitload of energy...

it doesn't take alot to pm donna, she's here all the time... i have dealt with cobalt addiction, and never had a problem getting someone on the phone, and they answered my questions, were there when they said they would be, and were really nice when i met them... just understand that things happen that are outside of their control, and from what donna said it's still within the 10 days shipping timeframe that they said, so chill mang..

Hmmm.

What's with the ranting about your car? I don't think anyone made any stabs at your car. Kinda seems like your trying to be boastful. I really don't get where you are coming from.

Wierd.

I'm not sure if this is the right place for this but here goes...
On a good note, i purcahsed a billet grill from CA. And living in Canada, shipping out of Ny, i was expecting a months wait. Was i surprised to see it show up in just short of two weeks! I was also impressed with the quality, instructions, and hardware, and ease of installation.
I'll spread a good word where due!

Ryan

there have been several posts made in several different topic threads where its being implied that the car was more important then anything else. after about the 4th time i see the same sort of post from the same member, i had to say something. in this recent post mentioned earlier, the member had posted about us getting the car ready for a show and that we would worry about the customer when we were done.....not true....not true at all and never has been true. im not calling this person by name because they know who they are and im not going to argue with them until they can clarify to me why they have done this in almost every thread about the company which i do intend to do through PM so that i can understand better where this is coming from.

im not boasting at all. im saying to this member, stop bringing up an irrelevant situation and contact me directly instead. obviously there are ill feelings this members has towards CA and myself. i am asking in a respectful manner to not bring my car into it as its not related to anything and is just a stab someone is trying to take to add fuel to the fire.
thats all.

communication is very important , i agree. and we are trying our very best to improve on this.
you all know i am here 8-430 every day...proud day crew member of this board and semi-post *****. so if you need something, u can always ask me. i have never presented myself as unapproachable in any way shape or form.
yes sometimes work gets in the way of me being on the forum, but i check up every day with the exception of weekends which as of lately i have not been able to do.

as a general FYI, my computer at home is packed away as we are still undergoing construction which will prohibit my computer access till february on the weekends at least. could be longer if the contractor and crew dont get a move on.
but monday morning...i will be here. so dont fret if you dont get a response during the weekend. i try to check up on my sidekick...but its slow.

How many types of guages aeroforce guages are there? I thought they were pretty universal.

Also, if it really is within the 10 days, the orrigonal post by the customer is BS.
However; Give the guy a little bit o credit, he never mentioned you guys as the company untill, it was brought up by someone else.

I see both sides. But I do like CA and would preferr to give my $ to you guys in the future, except on the progress springs, you guys are a little over others, HINT HINT.

PS. we hate your car cuz it's better that ours. It's like chicks hating other chick cuz they have a better body. Human nature. Kinda makes me think you are hated by everyone, cuz of your car & your body.

That was my 2 cents. BLAH.

yes i appreciate that he didnt say anything about the particular vendor. and i do appreciate the positive feedback people have given CA as sometimes i think people forget that no one is 100%perfect but you never hear of the good things when it comes to any vendor here.
its only if there is an issue and most of the time the issue is something so small that people get worked up about.

the customer and i have talked back and forth via PM and he understands what happened and understands the miscommunication.

i posted though to reiterate the importance of contacting me before this stuff hits the board.
between the 5 or 6 different ways to contact us including myself, these issues shouldnt arise or get to the board.

i wish the vendor forums would allow us to sticky some info. but they dont.
well ill contact someone and see.
