pics look a little dark but the valance looks real good on your car. Hope you enjoy it Ryan.

Was installation a snap or did you have to do some custom drilling? either way congrats and get a dual exhaust setup. It will look real mean Hope it just stuck right on. What time did it get to you at?

installation wasnt that bad but i also did do some driling on the end parts in the wheel gaps so it would stay on firmer since just the tape didnt seem that sturdy.. and yaa. after i put it on i forgot bout my exhaust pipe i did the same thing you did. I had it too close to my exhaust tip and it burnt a whole in it. It melted though the bottom or the cut out and i also now has a semi-circle melt from the damn exhaust. so what im did was that i took it off and now im going to fiberglass the bottom of the cut out back together so its stronger now and ill try to fix the semi-cirecle whole also . I got a friend in body shop so im giong to be asking him bout it tomorrow so hopefully we can get it fixed. And also im deffintly getting a dual exhaust either borla or magnaflow b4 i put it back on so it doesnt get any more messed up then it is.

I also got it that friday at 3ish.

Ill keep you all updated.

Well... my problem was a little bit different... see, I had the exhaust shop install my exhaust while the valance was still in, they forgot to extend the tip and that's when I had problems.

Now I don't have to worry about that anymore.
I take it the valance extended further out then the tip and fried (at least that sounds like the understanding anyways).

Wilkky, I believe that's the only aftermarket RK Sport piece he has besides some aftermarket rims.

Hey Cobalt30, does your car have the sport package? I noticed on the RK site it says won't work on SS and sport pkg cars. What its cost to paint it? I was thinking of side skirts with back valance for mine.

He has the base coupe without the sport package, yes it doesn't fit the SS, I know this because I gave him that valance. For me to paint that valance cost $100 just in paint. The total cost of paint for you would be around between $200 -$250 depending on body shop if your having them paint it and you install it.. I went to the dealer to have them paint that. It cost me $150 but they were going to include labor to put it on.

Well i also have the SS front bumper on it also so that extends her down in the front and the back had the rear valence which extended her down and its not noticable from the height diffrence either as you can see from the pics. But eventually i will still get the sideskirts with time considering money is a lil tight right now.

Would you need to buy a real valence of sumthing if you wanted to make an SS/SC have dual exhausts?

You have a 05 SS/SC but does she have a Base Coupe? If not, this will not work for you.
