well my 07 ss/sc is stock ( well it has a knn intake) with 3300 miles onit and when accelerating hard fomr one to two, it smokes the clutch! i no alotta people have replaced them due to hp reasons, but as anyeon tried to get their clutch warrantied? abuse or not, at 3300 miles, a slipping clutch is ridiculous.



btw im not new at driving stick, this is my 6th stick car over the past 5 years lol, iv never even powershifted the lil ****,

so has anyone had any sucess with a clutch from them?

i also read about the how-to make stock clutch from slipping sticky, its soudns extremely weird but ill give it a shot

 

There is a thread on here that pertains to how this clutch needs to be driven. You have to shift her over 3K at a regular basis. Our clutches are not happy with being babied. If you have been treatin her too nice then she will throw a fit man. ALOT of stop and go traffic will not help either, that has been a cause for mine to heat up.. I'm pushin 8500 miles on mine and she keeps on truckin
