boost problem?

hey you guys, need a little help. is it noraml for me not to get more then 5 or 6 psi's in first gear. i noticed that a couple of days ago. everything other gear is fine. thanks for any input.

Honestly I never look at my boost guage in first, I always look at the tach. Let others chime in.

yeah i noticed i get almost no boost in first also, i think its supposed to be that way

As far as i know yea it is. If every other gear is fine then you dont have a boost leak.

another quick question, i have an 05 ss/sc and my headlights fog up. my last car was an '02 and those headlights looked amazing compared to the ones i have now. is this under warranty or anything, or is there a way to fix this?

Bring that **** in, GM has to replace that under warranty. Thats like the body panels not lining up good.

Are they the stock headlights ? how many miles do u have on it ?

you should still get the same amount of boost in every gear, I do

I get alomost 13 on the stock pulley

Perfectly normal. I have an 06 ss/sc with the GM stage 2 kit and a GM stage 3 pulley. I don't get very much boost in first, but all others are normal.

I get the same amount of boost in all gears,

you should as long as your at full throttle, of course you just spin out but you should still get the same amount of boost

before i got tune i was seeing normal levels of boost but now i only see 5 at most cause i had boost turn down with hpt

my car is completely stock. i only have 15100 miles on it. are the headlights covered under warranty. should i take the car to the dealer about the boost to make sure?

I never noticed when I was stock but after my tune i really dont get any boost in first to help with traction then 2-5 its on lol

i only see 10 in first and 12/13 in the rest.
dealer gave me this sheet it has a little info.
