Yes the stage kits are worth the money, just go straight to stage 2

And you can get a LOT out of any SS/SC.

I'd say buy it!

GM Stg2 kit is well worth the money, and with the aftermarket on these going up such as they are..There isn't much of a limit to the possibilities.

Get the GM Stage 2 kit, and then buy the Stage 3 pulley, and dual pass end plate for the intercooler........ All of these kits and pats can be found on www.crateenginedepot.com !

Magnaflow. It sounds great.

If you plan on going for alot of power, don't get stage 2. You will be limited to 240 HP.
Get 60# injectors, a smaller pulley like a 2.7 or even lower, and a custom HPTune.
Most that get stage 2 end up going further (smaller pullies, larger injectors, HPTuners or a combination of them), making the stage 2 worthless.

If the warranty is an issue then GM stage 2 is a good investment.

There are a lot of cat back exhaust systems out there. You could go with GM Performance Parts one, covered under warranty, great price, and great sound. There is also Corsa, Magnaflow, Borla, etc. As for just a muffler, I hear that the Magnaflow mufflers sound nice, but not too sure on anything else.

07 w. 2200 km on it

Yes, the stage 2 is worth it. The power increase is subtle, but USEFULL. The rev limit increse alone, makes the car more enjoyable to drive.
Integrate the upgrade into your financing........you wont notice it.

Way ahead of you. I have an 06 ss/sc with stage 2 and the stage 3 pulley. I am waiting the endplate. Stage 2 produced 15lbs of boost. Stage pulley produces 16.5

That's interesting. I dynoed out at 267 with my GM stage 2, GM stage 3 pulley, AEM cold air intake, and custom cat-back exhaust.

What did you dyno with just stage 2 ? The question was about the stage kit.

Have fun trying to get more power without something negative happening. The stage tune will only go so far.

And that is a generous dyno.
