i put in silverstar headlights and it seems like they point damn near straight down...i cant see very far ahead of me at all. it seems like it should be an easy thing to fix. can anyone point me in the right direction? thanks

There's an adjustment screw on the top of the headlights. It adjusts them vertically.

hmmm thats strange....i think you may have more of a problem than this.

Silverstars (if you bought 9007) are a direct replacement bulb, and should have the exact beam allignment as your stock bulbs...

In fact i had silverstars in mine before i bought projectors/hids, and I popped them in and they were 100% perfectly alligned. in exactly the same spot as the OEM bulbs......just brighter...

i got silvestars for mine and they seem to point straight down too. just allign your headlights where they are on and pointed at a wall on an even surface. I believe it explains it in the owners manual. something like 20 feet away and have the line 5 or 6 feet high. i forget exactly.

but ya. there is a bolt to adjust them verticly on top. around a size 5 metric i think.. not positive tho.

hmmm....that is very very strange.
please dont take offence...none is intended....but are you sure you installed the bulb correctly?

Ive never heard of a replacement 9007 bulb aiming in a completely different area....
it just makes no sense, they are exactly the same size, shape, design as an OEM bulb....

i may have to adjust mine i took mine out and painted them last year and they seem to be pointed upward and it blinds the **** out of people cuz everyone thinks i have my high beams on. I'll have to look into it. Is there any sort of level device by the adjuster to let you know how its sitting?
