You were with a lady friend, I was driving the lincoln about 1:30 am. If you're in the neighborhood and feel like trying again, I'd like a rematch from a stop or low roll.

 

R U kidding, you want to race a SS/SC in a lincoln. What year? I grew up in lewisville, and will be driving down in March in my balt to visit family if you really want to run a supercharged balt. I dont think it is going to be pretty though.

What to you mean??? I was not being a dick or anything, and a really will be in that area in March. Carrolton is 5mins away from my home town. I was just saying if he really want to race a balt that I would volunteer my time and car. I really do not think a lincoln is going to hang. My dad is a real estate agent out there, and lincolns are all he has ever drove. I know that they would have to be severly modded to hang with even a stock balt SS/SC. How bout I start off in second gear??? Think that is fair.

 

Well, considering I put a bus length on him from the light while he was playing racer boy, and he didn't put much on me from a 50 roll, I'd say I'd like to give it another shot. He had a sticker on his passenger quarter window for this site.

It was definitely supercharged, as he was sure to let me know by revving that whiney bastard to the moon at the light.

If anyone else in the neighborhood has a stock(ish) one, i'm down to run. It's just a stock 5.0.

 

...ive raced a Stock 5.0L Lincoln in my stock 2.4L SS Auto and smoked it.

Either the kid didnt know how to drive, or he wasnt trying....or he spun too much.

 

He lost from a dig and won from a roll. Happens to me alot.

unless you have a lincoln LS (300hp Northstar v8) dream on buddy. 5.0 lincolns are high 15 sec cars, the LS is a 14 sec car. a ss/sc could run with a LS and kill you, he was probley laughing at you for wanting to race.

 

WOW, so they let lincoln use a cadillac motor in the LS? Your credibility is gone now.


All I'm hoping is that this guy, who was revving on me, give me another race. It shouldn't be any reason for all of the ruffled feathers. I am well aware of what my car runs, I've owned much faster, I just wanted to know what he had and if he'd care to run again.

And yes, I'd say he needed to learn to drive, or needed to get some tires. Like I said, I want to see a rematch.
