my goal is to try and get my cobalt like this. This car is badass for being all motor.

Heres a bunch more runs by him and he makes low 14 in one and plans to get in the 13s by summer with no nitrous or boost.

Kind of funny he will beat a stock cobalt ss and prolly even one with a stage 2 upgrade.

Back when i had my Z24 and spent my days on jbody.org there was a quite a few all motor ecos hitting high 14s.

I've always wondered if an AEM intake on a cav eco would fit on our cobalt ecos.

yup thats why i posted this for us 2.2 ecotecs to see. Since we didnt purchase a ss for alot more $$ we coudl build our motors up to run against a stock cobalt ss all day long. Stage 2 or 3 we would have to boost our cars.

thanks for the info on that. I didnt want to bash a stage 2 or 3 because i dont know the numbers on them and i dont pay attention since i dont have one. I still wish there were more parts for our 2.2s.

On my 2.2 sunfire, i had aem cold air intake, upper/lower motor mounts, smaller lighter pulley, cat back exhaust, obx header, b&m shiftplus.

I have a t3 super 60 turbo sitting in my closet and im debating on building a turbo kit for my car but i would much rather run all motor for a stock everyday driver.

Why keep bringing up 2.2 Vs SCs? We should be building HP to beat the brand X cars and rooting for all Cobalts to win in their respective classes!

14.7 is far away from hitting the 14 flat. It is possible but it takes alot of determination and hard work.

I know. I was just saying its very possible is all. BTW my Cavi had full interior and subs in the trunk so she could have gone faster but I didn't want to gut it.
