whats that code? i changed my oil, started car checked level, then turned off, flipped key to on position, and reset the oil life meter, turned key off started car with a check engine light. code was p2228? i cleared the code and everythings been all good in the hood, didnt come back again, and car drives fine. SOOOOO anyone know of the code p2228, worse comes to worse, my father had mitchell on demand, and alldata so ill just check that.


EDIT*****(after using search button) what would cause this code? i did unplug the sensor on top of the oil filter cap and reinstalled it before the key was put on again .

 

P2228 Barometric Pressure (BARO) Sensor Circuit Low Voltage PCM
Yea unpluging the sensor with the key on would set this code I would make sure the pins aren't bent and the sensor is plugged in all the way.maybe wiggle the wires and make sure
you didn't pull a wire out.
