I'm taking my car to the dealer tomorrow for other stuff, but I need some help.

Some of my rims (Car is like 2 weeks old) has ripple indentations going horizontal, sort of like this

Its on spokes, going closer to the outer rim.


Anyone seen or heard of this before?

Did you go through an automatic car wash that grabs your wheels and pulls your car through? I've read on here about some members having those **** their wheels - not sure if that's what caused it though.

 

Nope, not at all. I only go to those UWASH bays.
It almost looks like a punch card, really weird.

 

yes mine had that on it new made the dealer replace all 4 rims and the 3 other new 2.4ss on the lots was the same way too

 

I'm going into the dealer tomorrow for allignment issues. I'll then be heading over to their Bodywork dept where i'm having the manager look at my rims.

It better get done or else

 

I went to the bodywork place, couldn't see the marks because of all the rotten snow/salt/slush and dirt on the wheels. The Owner of the bodyshop said that I shouldn't worry since I still got warrenty(Brand new car) and to bring it in the spring so they can have a look at it and take care of it.

Hopefully I'll get brand new wheels out of it.
