double post, plus when using "BLUE" bulbs you loose the visibility of the light being produced

H1 are the stock bulbs, I bought a set of these really white bulbs, still H1 sized, but a little more expensive, you can also buy diff bulbs from like CT and other car stores. Get HIDs

You could order HIDs from Vision Bulb (supporting vendor). They'll last longer, give off more light/let you see the road better and burn at a lower temp than halogen bulbs.

Anyway you go though, make sure you get H1 bulbs for the projectors (both hi's and low's are H1)

I just put sylverstars ultra white in my projectors, they look nice, they defferently make the projectors work better. (just until I fell like buying HIDs)

Yeah mine too. Its too hot and will melt the plastic I think. I think people are having problems (only a few that i know of) with the stock H1 bulbs melting the plastic. So HID's would be a no go for sure if thats the case. Link to that thread here

HID's run cooler than normal halogen bulbs, however when they "fire up" they run slightly hotter.

The main reason it says not to use HID's is because you have to drill a small hole to allow the return wire to come from the tip of the bulb back to the base.

Oh man, first off, im gonna wait here for everyone to come in here and relentlessly flame you.

And FYI, HID's run cooler than Halogens and will not burn/melt your wiring, projectors, housing etc
