Hood Protector paint mod
Hood Protector paint mod
Okay my car is a little over a month old and I have my first rock chip on my hood.
So now I'm mad!
No, I'm not getting that 3M thingamajig.
I'm going to get the GM Hood Protector, Part number 12499391
However the black on my Lazer blue Car will make it look like a Unibrow. Screw that!
So I'm going to sand it down, throw on some primer and paint match it to my cars color.
Now, before I get it, I'm going to confirm with them that it won't rub off part of my hood. It's a GM product for my car, if it does, they WILL repaint my hood.
So, hopefully I'll have a "How to" within the coming weeks.
Btw, this is what it looks like.
