Burning smell from GM Touring Exhaust

I just had the GM touring exhaust put on last week. But I've noticed a burning smell since then. Anyone ever come across this? Or know why it's there?

yes it is just a new exhaust you are breaking in. Even when you get a new car and you test drive it for the first time....you get that same smell. Its fine and it will go away...trust me

It could just be the oils and dust in the exhaust burning away.
I wouldn't worry about it unless it doesn't go away in a couple of weeks

Any rattles? If not then its not touching anything its probly just the exhaust burning in. The heat has to cook out all the crap from when it was built, you should be fine. Just listen for rattles caus if its hitting anything that could be an issue.

Good luck.

OK cool, just wanted to be sure. The exhaust doesn't rattle, so I assume it's in pretty good. Thanks guys.
