uhm a new noise thats kinda interesting.

So i changed my plugs the other day i went from coppers to the NGk, bk6eix.. anyways i gapped them to about .040'' and i installed them and snugged them down not to tight and not to loose. so then i went out driving and at about 1/2 throttle to WOT, i have the wine of the supercharger becuase of the intake, and now i have a hiss/ higher pitch noise coming from the engine bay. i know its not the supercharger because i can depict the two apart. but i'm thinking maybe its just my throttle, or the new plugs, i'm not sure. anyways i made an pretty cool discovery to while removing my old coppers to. i gap checked them for the hell of it, one ways spaced .025'', and another .050'' they where all over the place. not sure what happend there. Also there was no fouling. i pulled the ones i just put in also. and theres nothing wrong with them... so is this noise common?

any help?!? kinda got me nervious

oh oh, and i swear i'm pushing 14-15 psi at about 6 grand

That noise does not sound common. Did you install the rings on the new plugs?, did you use any anti-sieze?

As for your inconsistant gap, if you don't put them in perfectly straight down, and tap them against the head, you can close the gap. I have heard of the rareinstance where people tap the plug against the head by accident and then 0.000" gap them uninentionally resulting in no spark.

Don't know why you would have a 25 and a 50 gap. Did it Idle smoothly? That should make for irradic HP curve in top end.

What is "not too tight, not too loose" mean? You need to use a torque wrench and torque the plugs to 15 ft/lbs. You are probably hearing compression loss through a loose plug.
