exhaust is studdering

I noticed the other day that at idle my exuast will be quiet as normal and then evry couple seconds will make a "thumping" sound..im all stock except for aem intake. Is the cat clogged? Not throwing any CEL's. was thinking bout gutting the cat but heard it was a bad idea..i just ordered 2.7'', 60lbers, shortened belt, copper plugs, hp tuned.. will my stock exhaust survive? PLEASE HELP........THANK YOU

and it will sound like ass, and you will fail emissions. the risk is not worth the 1 or 2 hp in my opinion.

i'm tuning his car i will turn off the 2nd o2 sensor so no DTC and passing that bullshit!
also it sounds like ass the first 1000 miles then it sounds pretty good
