i was wondering even before this whoel gas thing, what kind of mpg are u guys really seing in the ss/sc cars??? cuase my mustang is pretty good i get 26-7 on the highway, and between 19-21 in the city which isnt sooo bad for a 5.0, and i fell in love with the ss/sc cobalt so im jus wonderin

37 last trip for 68 to 70 miles doing the speed limit.
After 4 to 5 tank full and some hard driveing and some not I got 28 MPG. This is an average with in city and hyway driveing speed limit and drag / crusing on weekends.

To sum it up. The cobalt gets realy good gas milage if you stay out of the boost. But n*mal dr*ing wi  get yR closeAo 30mpB

 

ummmmm i think i shoudl start saving up for oen then..... and sell the cobra

 

My car has 2500 miles on it; I have some hard runs at the track, and some playing with the car. I do about half and half as far as city miles and town miles.(i drive 100 miles a day; from a small town to downtown St. Louis) My computer saids my mpg is 27.4

I havent reset to see what im getting while driving in town or on the highway.

Consistantly 23.5 MPG this week. Up from last week/month where it was averaging 22.3-22.6mpg. Been shifting at around 2.5k-3k RPM. Car has 1795mi. My short 7 mi oneway trip to work has 6 stops...gr.

 

I also shift at 3.5 RPMs when driving normally.

32 mpg is the best I get hiway with the cruise set at ~70.
24-26 mpg driving around town and express ways.

I use 93 octane.

 

My best was 34 highway @ ~70mph

 

My average so far (mostly city) has been right around 20 even... but I did the airbox mod yesterday and I swear to god Im up to 24mpg, and honestly I've been driving the car harder today.... its good stuff.
