Possible turbo upgrade

I was at the Saab dealer over the weekend and I was looking at the 9-3 Aero with the 2.0 turbocharged engine that puts out 210 Hp. It looks like the same engine as ours though the sales person said it wasn't. Has anyone thought of trying to convert this package to our cars using the manifold and turbo then getting some tuning? Just thought it would be easier than starting from scratch. Can anyone shed some light on this possibility?

For 5hp?!?! No way, man. I'll stick with what I've got. That would cost a small fortune in both money and labor for a measley 5hp gain, so not worth it.

However, a turbo is much more easily upgraded than a supercharger. You may get 5 more hp from a factory kit, but that can easily be modified.

The Manifold might be worth it but I would want to start with a bigger turbo, if I was going to do the swap. Might be cool start for a twin charger project.

Yeah i'm sure you could get the manifold, find a bigger turbo and do some tuning so they both work together and end up with quite alot of Hp.
