Problems/Service/Maintenance Do you have problems with your new 2.0, 2.2, or 2.4L? What kind of service did you have done?

A couple of problems. Could be one whole one.

A couple of problems. Could be one whole one.

I was on my way to Beaver PA when I was on the on-ramp to get on OH 11. And I hear 4 beeps, and I look at my gauge cluster and the DIC. I had NO gauges, and the DIC was displaying "Power Steering" and "Low Fuel". I pulled to the side of the road, shut the car off and waited a bit. Started it again, same problem. Did the same thing, shut it off and waited a bit. It finally gave me gauges, and I started driving. I looked down again and saw that the security light was on. Then the gauges did it again, this time I kept driving. They kept jumping and finally reset themselves and gave me readings again. What do you guys think this is? And have any of you had this problem? BTW, I'm going to take it to the dealer tomorrow and see what's up.

Ok, I'm taking it to the dealer today. So, we'll see what's going on. I'll post an update when I get back.

^^The brights/ebrake light problem can be fixed with a reflash. Mine would do the same thing. I took it in and they found a TSB for it.

I asked them for a reflash and they wouldn't! They said there is no reflash! Sent an email to customer service and they wouldn't do anything either!

I took it in and made an appointment for Wednesday, hopefully they can duplicate the problem and find what's wrong.

I'm having a similar problem but a little different. I disconnected the battery while installing a new head unit and after that the car won't start at all and the security light pops up on the dash. Is this just a dead battery or what?
