im pissed this color wasnt avaliable in 06

 

I believe its called Racing Red, its a maroon with metal flakes my friend and co-worker bought a 07 SS/SC with recaros in this color. I almost traded in my black 06 SS/SC for it lol.

no its called sport coat or sport tint red or something like that. It doesnt have metal flakes its just maroonish

 

Its caller Sport Red Metallic Tint Coat, its a $400 option on top of the cars price, it chips very easily (which is a bitch!) Its the first year the color is offered outside the Cadillac line up and I love it! I ordered mine with it in fact I'm the FIRST SS in MD to have the color.

Close but not quite. Its a multi stage paint job that uses silver as its base and the red is translucent so the silver gives it a metallic look. The best way to describe it is Candy Apple Red not maroon.
