Sell ME your header!!

I looking for a header with 3" collector.
Prefer the shorty header so if you want to upgrade to the long header now is the time!

WHat do you have and price including shipping to Winnipeg Manitoba R2M 4L4. thanks

The pacesetter header looks like a good buy, you can get them new for pretty cheap. I'm thinking about getting one but I am kinda wanting a long tube instead. Don't really know how much better a long tube is though?

I'd also like to know who has the best price. Hard for me cuz shipping to Canada kills. Turbotech want $95us to ship the pacesetter. I think the cheapest I found was at thepartsbin.com

i bought the pacesetter one off ebay, mine is for the 2.2 not sure if its the same i got it for $165 shipped. although i did have trouble getting it, but thats a damn good price.
i actually haven't installed it yet.

nope its not the same, here is a link for the 2.0 on ebay.
http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/PaceS...spagenameZWD1V

also this is not the same ebay store i bought mine from, stay away from replacement auto parts (auto parts warehouse) they never shipped my headers, had to open a claim

The bolt patterns are the same on the 2.2 and the 2.0, so it will work on both.

just the fact that its all welded and it would cost a **** load to swap out the header well not a **** load but it would just be a pain in the ass , i would need to fab up a downpipe and do a bunch of ****

like if my header was any longer then i would have to move my o2 bung reposition my downpipe and reweld the exhaust , plus put the new header on and buy the new header , just not looking to spend 350 to gain 4 hp

I am looking to buy someones used shorty header (they may want to sell for various reasons and one of the reaseons maybe they want a long header or just a different one)

Someone suggested that I just buy a Pacesetter. My posts were not extremely clear but man you speed read without reading other posts.....LOL.

no problem. Hope this makes it clear as mud. if not then this will help.......

........ I am stock with stock header. Wanting to buy your aftermarket header if it is for sale for what ever reason.

They should be the same exact header. I don't know why pacesetter would do all the R&D to produce two different headers that have the same bolt pattern and clearance needs. For example, the Vibrant header that I purchased is listed everywhere as for the 2.0; no mention of the 2.2 at all. However, I was assured by many other members and by Scott at Cobalt Performance Parts that it works on the 2.2. I think you will find this to be the same situation.

It says for 2007 cobalt ss/sc. dumb question but just being careful. I have a 2005. it should fit my car, right?

Next question is there is a picture of the header and hardware. what needs to be done to stock downpipe to bolt up? Is what I am seeing is a beginning of a downpipe part of the hardware that then requirs welding of a custom made downpipe or to the factory downpipe?

thanks!

Make sure if you get the Pcaesetter you get part number 72C1273, that's if you get the cearmic one. Without the "C" then it's the painted one. I've noticed a few sites that list the header for the 2.0L as part number 72C1272, but that one is for the 2.2l. The one for the 2.0l has 1 3/4" primaries and a 3" outlet at the flange, the one for the 2.2l has 1 1/2" primaries. So just a heads up, make sure you get the right one.

$200 aint that bad. I have no header but just from what Ive read, the pacesetter isnt that durable of a header. I guess its one of the only ones that isnt cermanic (could be wrong). Id stay away from it if you want something to last in other words.

First time I have heard of that from anyone. Most who have it recommend it highly. and the ceramic one as well.

The cermanic one for sure, go get it. Im just saying ive heard of some people getting the painted one and it lasting a 1k miles and taking a **** on them, hehe. Just make sure whatever one you get its either ceramic or armor coated.
