If this is a dumb question sorry in advance i looked at the frequently asked questions section and still didnt find it.

I wanna know is it possible to have recaro seats without an LSD? Because im looking at a blue one with recaro seats its an 06' and idk if it has a an LSD either does the dealer if theres anyway to tell for sure you should let me know.

 

It should be. The cobalt didnt comme recaro's W/out LSD. However the Redline did, so keep that in mind... The option code for recaro/LSD is G85. Hope that helps.

 

07 had lsd without the seats.....

 

I know that, but the car I bought has recaro so im guessing it has and LSD, so im hoping i can find the sticker in the car when I pick it up, that says if it has the G-85 perfomance package thanks!

Unless you bought the car used I would say that you most likely have them.

 

Yes I did buy the car used, so your saying theres a chance i could have the seats but not the LSD?

Also if I dont have the sticker for the car which I hope is in the car is there anyway to tell if it has an LSD or not, by looking at the car?

in ur trunk, or sometimes on the door there will be a sticker giving u code numbers for every option ur car has, look for "g85" if it says "G85" in the option sticker u have it...... this sticker will just have the codes, and no makings telling u what they stand for, if u really wanna know, call gm and give them ur vin number

My understanding is that for 2006 the two were bundled, and for 2007 you could get LSD w/o the seats, but NOT the seats w/o the LSD. So if it has the seats, it has the LSD.

Just so he can test it: what can you do while driving the car to verify the LSD? It should be much better at putting power to the ground in a straight line. But I assume the LSD doesn't operate in turns.

 

This is what you do, put it in nuetral, yank up the e-brake, and let her eat in first, get out and see if you see two nice lines of rubber.

Actually the LSD shines when you punch it on a curve.

Anyway, the sticker with all the option codes is in the trunk, on the left side, under the carpet. Cant miss it. It's silver in color with black text.

You can't get the seats without the LSD... it does work the other way around.

 

I have na 07 and LSD but no recaros =( I want the recaros though ,lol
