Rims stuck need help plz
Sorry for posting this in the wrong section but I need max exposure and hopefully a fast reply. Trying to put my summer rims back on, but my winter rims and tires won't come off. All the nuts are off, they just ain't moving even though I'm reefing on em. I've blasted some wd40 in the centre and around all the studs and nothing. Anyone have any ideas?
I had this happen on a back road with a flat... I loosened the bolts, lowered the jack back down and used the power steering to help remove the tire. You should only have to turn the steering wheel a bit each way before the tire becomes loose. If the back tires are stuck, hold a board of wood against the rim and hit it with a hammer.
Just kick the tire a few times, and if you arent afraid of getting violent you "could" hit the rim with a hammer but i doubt it will come to that. Not recomended on mag wheels btw.
or another thing you can do is put the lugs on hand tight then back them off 1/2 turn, lower the car and push it side to side, wiggleing the ass end or front it and they should crack loose. Probably just have a little rust forming in there. its pretty common.

I beat the **** out of one tire with a rubber mallet, as if it were my red-headed stepchild and no go. It's too late to keep working in the parkade, someone is going to bitch. I'll have to try again tomorrow, or just take it to tire shop and ask them to break them all for me and put 'em back on. This is insane
Thanks for the suggestions, and the laughs guys
