I bought mine last year from hollandspecialts@hotmail.com. I think it was around $45 US + shipping. They are NOT a site vendor so I will not promote them further than that.

Here is the original thread, which was eventually locked.

Hey "johnnykb8" do you like the color of the car better than the carbon fiber? I have the SS badge on, i would love to keep it on but i have how you can see the bowtie outline and there are 2 holes you can see as well. someone should make a how to "take out middle grill bar and put custom mesh grill" then i could just put the emblem on that. That would look sick

i like it being painted the body color now

the bowtie outline is there because u have not cleaned it the correct way after it was removed, the outline (shadow) can be removed very easy with almost any cleaner wax, etc

No i believe he was referring to how in the middle of the bar it shaped to accomadate the top and bottom of the bowtie.

no im not talking about a dirty outline. im talking about the shape of the bowtie and the two holes on the middle of the emblem. Look at this pic and you will see what im talking about.

y not take the gold bow tie off of the chrome backing and paint that the same color as the car. then attach the SS to it.

hmmm....may not look that good but its probably better than the holes.

i was thinking of cutting that middle bar out and do all the sanding and painting and making it look like there was never one there and putting a custom grill and put the badge right on the grill.
