Does anyone here use a personal OBD II scanner? I was considering investing in one in the future so that I could just check on codes myself. Is it worth it to do that, and can anyone recommend a particular manufacturer? Thanks alot. :thumb:

Hey XM, I bought a MAC Tools mini handheld one for 60 dollars. It reads the code, can clear the code, Tells you what the code means and has some freeze frame data. Ill try and find you some pics and some more info

I have an Actron CP9125. It's a basic scanner for reading and resetting codes and pendings. Nothing fancy, but it works great. I paid $51.95 on e-bay.
So, are there any manufactures to avoid, or are they all pretty good?
