Stge 2 belt

I am wondering what will happen if i get the stage 2 belt and put it on but i dont have stage 1 or 2 on my car? what benifits or disadvantages will arise? will it make it faster or just slow it down because i dont have the rest of the kit.

erm, I am not postive but I am going to say it won't fit because your not lowering the size of the pulley any therefore it will have more to grip and less belt on top? I honestly don't know. I know when doing modifications to idler and supercharger pulley it's a requirement to avoid slipping between gears.. not sure if it works the other way around or not.

You would get no benefit from it whatsoever. The belt would be too small for the stock pulley, and even if yo udid manage to get it on there you would creat a severe strain on th emottor by trying to make it turn a really really tight belt. If yo uleft it on long enough, it would probably snap. Do not do it.

I recommend going to a chain drive setup as it will have more resistance to this so called "snapping" that the others in the thread are talking about. I can machine you a custom sprocket for the blower (2.0") which will produce roughly 30 psi and 1000WHP. However you will need to swap in a poppet valve fuel system and a mechanical diesel fuel pump for 10,000psi +.

J/K man, there's no point to using the belt without the stage 2.
