Different Stock Wheels?

Hey, I am hoping to get an 06 cobalt ss/sc and I was curious, I'm not a huge fan of the wheel that come on them however I saw on GMcanada.com and in the top left corner on cobaltss.net here that they have different wheels with smaller spokes which i like. Ne 1 have more info on these, also getting a cobalt ss in canada can u get a block heater???

The wheels you see at the top corner of this page are RH Evolution C5 wheels. They were only put on the preproduction model that toured the auto shows and such. There are no factory wheel options as far as the s/c is concerned. you can buy the RH's if you like, there are links to them all over in this forum. i love them and plan on buying them as soon as i save enough cash... lol

Yes, you can get a block heater even in the US, so I'm sure you can in Canada, I do believe other people on this site have them. Yes you can get other wheels that are dealer installed. They don't look exactly like the wheels in the picture on the site, but they're narrower than the standard wheels...here's what they look like:

I found that on the US Chevy site, I don't know if they're available in Canada or not.

No idea about the wheels....

I too am waiting for mine in Canada. You can order the block heater on all Cobalt models in Canada, except the SS Supercharged (is available on it in the states....WTF???). Anyhow, if you want one, the same one that is on the other cars can be ordered and installed on your car. GM part # 12499853 I think it's only about $55, so it's not to bad. YOu should also order the lower grill cover (GM # 15773841, about $85) and put it on to cover the intercooler to prevent rock damage.

By the way, where are you from? I'm from Edmonton. I don't see many Albertans here. I know b-spot is from Calgary, but very few Edmontonians. I have seen a Black SS-SC and a Sunburst Orange one as well, but I guess they aren't on the site.

OK, nevermind on that wheel I posted...it says it's available on the Cobalt site but when you go to the GM Accesories Zone site it's not listed.

I have another question, would it be possible to strip the paint off the rims then polish and clear them? so that they are shiny instead of dark.
