my factory cd player died it ate one of my cd's and it wont give it back so i broght it to the dealer and since its happend 3 times im like something else needs to be done and there like let me see what we can do so there upgrading my radio to the higher end radio for me yey " does any one know if this a common thing to go wrong?"

 

Happened in my mom's monte carlo ss.... haven't heard much about the cobalts doing it though.

 

mine eats CD's on occasion, i just use my military ID or a credit card using upward pressure to nudge it out while hitting the eject button

 

the base models used to have this problem.

 

Mine eats em everytime i put one in.

Also, the buttons are wearing thru on it


Maybe the dealer will get me an MP3 deck

 

mine was refurbished at 23k miles and now it's starting to do it again slowly..

 

My Cobalt was taking CD's hostage... the dealer fixed it though. They just said there was some internal malfunction. Ya think?
