Painted my head lights and added some strobes

Hey whats up guys,
I just painted my head lights the other day.I painted them flat black, and i also put some strobe lights in them(4 total). It was a pain in the ass painting them. When i first painted them, the paint didnt stick well to the chrome,so i had to get some paint remover to remove the paint.I then sanded it down and primered them.I had some police strobe lights that i had in my old car,so i decided to throw them in since i had the headlights apart.Im waiting for my city lights to come in before i put the lens back on.Let me know what you think, thanks.

Now for the strobes make sure one is red and the other blue. Oh and also be sure to post your mug shot pics when you get arrested.

JK man. Your lights look pretty good, not feeling the strobes. But to each there own.

I like the look of the painted headlights. I am scared to do mine though, the dealership has had to replace mine 3 times. I always get one that holds water.

You painted over the reflective material for your headlamp. Now they will not be nearly as bright or useful.

Thanks for the comments good or bad.The strobe lights are for show, its not like i drive with them on,lol.Im gonna have them wired into my alarm. When i arm and disarm the alarm they will flash, and when the alarm is triggered there gonna flash.I have 2 extra bulbs,im gonna see if i can fit them into the foglights.

Nah,i dont think it will affect the light output as much as you think. If you look a the impala headlights, the bottom piece is painted black also.

Plus,if the light output sucks,i dont care. These are a spare set of headlights, ill just throw the stockers back in.

You tinted the inside of your lens? That looks nice.I have some spray tint, but i dont wanna make the lights too dark.

It was a pain in the ass right? Its not as easy as it looks.Any little imperfection sticks out.Im not using the strobes for street racing though,im done with that ****.A long time ago when i had the strobes in my z24,a bunch of us went on the highway for a run. They were all in front of me,so im like im gonna **** with them.I put my strobes on,and they all thought i was a cop so they slowed down.I just drove by them laughing at them.
