Washing the Cobalt

Quick question regarding pressure washers; is it best to get the one with the highest pressure or will a 1650psi washer do the trick ?

(I posted this here since there's a better chance of getting an answer.)

The best is the old fashioned garden hose and elbow grease.
Don't go all crazy with high pressure sprayers, those things can start cutting through wood when they get powerful enough.

I've always used the garden hose/elbow grease but the more you touch the finish the more scratching you do over time. I figure with a decent pressure washer and soap, I can avoid touching the car all together.

Am I making sense ?

I really do not see why you need a pressure washer to wash the car. Hand Wash has always worked for me

in theory yes you are, in reality....no. A pressure washer and soap will never get you as clean as you will be able to by hand plus it aids in stripping your wax off.

Use the two bucket method and a grit guard along with a nice microfiber mitt when washing your car and you will notice any kind of marring/swirls almost dissapear, however you will never be able to get rid of inducing marring/swirls its just the nature of the beast. But thats why we have polish and wax
