Hey guys, I removed that black tape **** on the door, i think it looks a lot better, if you want pics let me know, but i didnt like the black tape there...... took a while to peel it all off, it is very sticky...... let me know

I think he means that black strip between the doors...in behind the window...don't know if that's a good explaination or not, you're right a pic would be better.

 

I'd like to see pics of that, sounds like it would look good without it.

 

Yea would like to know what it looks like, mine in starting to collect scratches and it looks bad...

Looks alright. Personally I like how the black thing looks on my car. But your pic w/o it still looks prettey good too.

 

I like the way it looks... but at the same time I like it with the black thing cause it makes the tinted windows loook really good I feel.. Cause then the windows arn't split up my colour inbetween them.. I want to try it, I mean worst case I just get a vinyl shop to put new ones on..

 

john. when are you going to get the front and rear peices? also your side skirts are thsoe from the gmparts.com for the SS or did you get those from rksport? thanks man.

You know that "black ****" serves a purpose. It keeps finger prints off your door when you close it...

Thats what detail spray is for though . Easy fix, just spray and wipe clean.

 

coboltz007, the first pic is black between the two windows, the second is clearly red... its just a matter of removing the black vinyl strip. it is easy to miss if you don't know what to look for.

I have a black car so removing the finger strip previntion is not needed. Looks good with it on and no finger prints. Plus i do not want to wipe the paint off my car trying to remove finger prints all of the time.

 

Ryan, I got the side skirts from P&G Chev online, I got the RK valance the other day. Today I got the 2006 SS non supercharged front bumper cover. Took all this stuff to body shop today for paint.

 

I had the black thing removed from 1 side and left it black on the other side for a couple weeks. I was up in the air if I wanted it black or not. I decided to remove the other side. It's only vynal so a couple pieces of vynal won't break the bank if I decided to put back on. Since I've done this I noticed that most cars on the road all have the black piece on there. The new Mustangs do not have it black and I like the way it looks.
