Projector help! L lobeam keeps blowing.
Projector help! L lobeam keeps blowing.
ok guys, I think I need some help, my left low beam bulb keeps blowing out on my halo projectors, does any one know a way to contact the company? I think the harness might be flawed or something, this is the second bulb I have been through In a MONTH and these arent the cheapy bulbs either, their silverstars! >_< so 29bucks per bulb is really starting to hurt. does any one have any suggestions? I mean any thing, upgrading the harness (i.e. upgrading to a higher quality wire or something?) >_< it is driving me nuts.
please keep in mind it is only the left low beam (and yes I have checked the fuses)

the filament?
I dunno if youd ever be able to get a close enough shot, but it cant hurt.
but usually a blown bulb is a blown bulb.....what im saying though, is aftermarket bulbs are known for their short term lifespan
your doing really well if you get 12 months from a set.
Im just suggesting that you may have gotten really unlucky with your bulbs.
(Im assuming you know not to touch the bulb when installing too right? i know its a dumb question....but not everyone knows it)

yea I learned that from a budy of mine who learned the hard way (touched one that went into his flood lamps and it literaly exploded lol)
have you tried returning the silverstars?
I would consider the wiring a definate possibility, but ive heard stories like this from people in stock headlights too.
aftermarket bulbs are a bitch like that sometimes.

well i'm not exactly sure what a burnt bulb looks like, least not with silverstars, want me to post pics? also, on this bulb, (whats the piece inside called? x_x) it actualy looks like it just fell off.
