It causes dimples in the plastic! no pics as of right now, but do NOT use Krylon Plastic fusion!!!. I wish I had jsut saved up for the night shade, it would have been cheaper! now I need new tails (eventualy >_<) so ya, whoevers going to the cobalt meet in socal on sunday, don't make fun of them too much >_<
The only way i know of paint having dimples as you say in it; which is cause from either spraying to much on at once or/and using 2 different types of paint and clear for example enamle and laquer just my opinion
lol you think I don't know that? the coats I sprayed were thin and even. and no, there was no mixing of paint types.
sorry for the bluntness.
-steve.
ummm.mmmm
why exactly where you painting your tail lights for in the first place? Nite shades is special paint and transparent. Krylon fusion paint is just regular paint to paint plastic and not supposed to be transparent.

got a specific brand? because I tried paint thinner, and it didn't work >_<
and actualy, if you use krylon correctly, it can be thin enough for the light to come through with, you just have to use extremely thin coats. and as for the replacing of the lights, I don't? it didn't hurt the plastic in any way? cause if not
great! than I can just strip them and get the real stuff, I will take some pics in the morning.

You can fix these headlights if you wanted to and make then look brand new. Remember the spray is just over the plastic so you can wetsand it all down to the plastic again to 1500 then go get the plastic scratched remover kit from autozone that goes on the end of your drill and macquiers plastic remover afterwards and your lights could be brand new again. If you want i would be gladly to take the lights from you.

if it ruined your taiights start with wetsanding them with 320 grit for a long time until the paint starts coming off, then go up to 600 grit, then 800, then 1000, then 1500.
