Sounds good to me too . Looking in my "Old Cars Weekly" newspaper I am sorry to find that there are , like , no grass roots type car shows being advertised for the coming summer months. I was hoping to find some local shows /swap meets/cruise nights , but maybe they are just not being advertised yet(I hope). I subscribe to the paper , so if I read of one in the southern portion of the state I will mention it here for all to see.

Bob, i don't know too much about the southern part of the state. there's always back to the 50's in june, that's a really big show. as far as smaller shows theres usually a weekly one up in the northern suburbs, least there was last summer. other than that the only ones i know of is a grand prix/w-body show sometime in june i think. my hometown of hutchinson used to have a show every friday night at the mall parking lot, there were usually a dozen or so old cars that showed up and a few new ones. there's gotta be some kind of local car club that puts on a show in mankato. i have a friend that lives down by the iowa border, i'll have to see if he knows of any.

hey, i lived in ham lake for a few months, just off of hwy 65. i got to take a test drive of a ss/sc at rosedale chev last week, definately very fun drive. i do think the wing has to go though, personal opinion, can't see much with it. can't wait to get one :o

I do not notice it anymore , it's all in how you sit in the car , the car is an 05 with the G-85 upgrade , so maybe the recaro's help with my vision , I have seen tamer spoilers on the web , it seems to me that , it all comes down to personal taste I guess ! Good luck with getting yours ! I fell in love with it the first day I picked it up .

i only hope i can get a g-85, if i'm lucky i can find one used with a few miles on it. how are the recaros? they look nice, i just wish they would come with the color inserts, or be able to put them in, maybe from katzkin or something.

one kik ass thing that happened to me....i was at Seether, ShineDown, FireFly @ the Myth NightClub, parked round the back part where the busses are, and the seether bassist was outside and gave me a comment bout my car bein nice! comin from a guy that could be ownin' much much cooler shit, that awsum! not to mention i had a drink and talk to him @ the bar b4 they went onstage!

try Monticello, right on I-94 they got bunches of them, all shapes and color you could want! Couple of used ones came in the other week i geuss! They got a really nice Tangerine Orange colored one in the showroom - recaro, limited slip, sunroof...all the fun stuff, a few lil x-tra to i think!.....the only reason i know is i got my first oil change on the lil hotrod ever and i was talkin ot the sales guy again! No haven't had any problems. the cops round here are kinda interested in the car, but know it's sold like that stock so they don't fuck with me really! I was gettin pulled over in my cavy every week or 2. I Actually just got pulled over the other nite for the first time and it was for bullshit! cop said "i didn't have my headlights on, only my foglights were on" - as we all know cobalt owners: we have AUTOLIGHTS, right....fuckin dumb cop bullshit - just tryin to get me to do sumthin. he let me off the hook and started askin me if it could actually do 160 since its on the speedo...i told him dunno never had it abuv 80; and the reason for the wing if i only do 80 :) (if he only new) so whatever ya know, it just pissses ya off!!

Well i just got off Anoka Main Street Friday night and it kicked ass i had a dude in a SRT 4 race me with a Stage 1 kit i dont know if didnt know how to drive or what but i beat him by about two car lengths it was Burnt Orange (Anyone Seen it). Then i pulled up to the light on ferry street and a dude in a Beretta revved at me and the light hit green and we took off (Obviously i was gonna kick his ass but yea) and after we raced he gave me thumbs up it was a SWEEEET night. Wonder how good tommorow night will be?

Hey that Black SS with the Tint was proabably me....problem is, later that nite i got pulled over and the fukkin cop made me pull it off or he was gonna give me a $180 ticket for tint, plus radar detector and speedin' & give me a ticket for the wing for "obstruction of view" also!!!!!! f*cker made me pull it off the tint and only gave me a tiket for speedin n wing! even that was bullshit, i was goin' downtown keepn up wit everyone else, and he piucks me outa the bunch ya know! i actually went to court for it 2day and they dropped the wing "obstruction of view" cuz it's stock and legal, but got me with the speedin at $140, so that still blows!!TALK BOUT SUM B*LLSH*T!!!!

Hey guys in min Illinois just had the Coby dynoed on the DynoJet here at Universal Tech Institute and it got 222HP at the Wheels. and all my car has is the Air Box Mod. Ill post up the Video and the Dyno Sheet tommoro night when i get home ifi ts early enough.

The only things that are in my car, is a bunch of deposit envelopes, a cd book, filled with like 14 MP3 cds (I have the mp3 deck - stock) and my phone charger (don't need, I charge my phone inside everynight b4 bed). I have some sunglasses, but they are cheap, just good enough to block the sun. nothing is in my glove, except some napkins for the unexpected spill. I have some 3 cent off coupons in the little place where the trunk release is, but who's gonna look there. I have my bluetooth, and change in the armrest. Virtually nothing in the trunk!

I'm safe! plus I put the balt in the garage everynight. During the day, my car is one of the first in the parking lot, so I'm always closest to the door, and there's quite a few people going in and out of the building during the day (work in plymouth) so I think I'm pretty safe. Plus I don't really go places where my car could get broken into. Then again, you don't know how crazy people can get.

This is the first vehicle I've owned, where I will not have to spend any money on the sound system. I love the MP3/Pioneers. Just engine mods/Appearance mods!

In case anyone wants to know, I live very close to Park Center Senior High (about 2-3 min away). I'm right on the border of BC and BP. Should def think about having a Balt meet somewhere!

Plus I've already had a run in with a not so friendly driver and scraped some paint off my front fender, right below the lights! I did get some touch up paint, and did a good job. You really can't tell from far away, but up close, within a 2 feet or so, you can see the cosmetic damage. Nothing serious.

Thanks, im trying to find a location where the owners will allow us to gather, without the cops being called, i will contact a few local shops and see if its cool if we hang in their parking lot, or we could go find a local park (prefferably in a good neighborhood) to gather...

once again i'm working nights on the weekend again so if you guys can come up with a time and a place i'll try to make it there. I used the Turtle Wax Ice...........GO BUY IT AND USE IT. Has a shine that surpasses all the other waxes I've used! I'll get pics up later today, like when I get home at 4; they're in my driveway, since it was getting dark, and I was tired after waxing, lol!

That air box mod is ok but the intake tube is too small and its not metal so the supercharger isn't nearly as loud as it could be. someone bring a video camera tomorrow night (friday) and you tape my car cause that thing is massively loud in comparsion.

so far its the same plan for me but im not eatin at subway again..... im not gonna say why lol... but yeah 10 am in the park & ride rain or shine then well get together somewheres other than the midway... that didnt work out so hot :)

i seen two ss/sc yesterday and today. one orange one going north on hwy 10 by hanson blvd at 3:30 monday, other one was a red one at starbucks in riverdale around noon today. the orange one looked like it might have had rims, not sure, looked good though.
