Hey

Hey just wanted to give a shout. My name is Ryan and I am 25 and I also have a Cobalt SS 2005 just with a cold-air-intake. I live in Fridley MN. So if anyone is around give me a shout.

that's actually 610, not 160, Fayzer

I may show up, I'm still undecided about going out of town this weekend or not.

Sorry for the topic change, but does anyone have any "good" dealers they know of? I'm having trouble find a good price and place I trust for work.

Thanks!

Well I'll say that when I got my colorado form Friendly Fridley, it took way longer than expected (4+ hours, and not all the paperwork was signed). I went to Walser Chevrolet (right off of 169) and it took like 1 and a half hours and I was out driving my new cobalt!

I had also purchased my first vehicle through Walser and they are very good (at least from my experiences). Iten Chevrolet (Brooklyn Blvd/610) is ok, I had waaranty work done there on my Colorado, they were good about it. Purchasing, I don't know!

Anyone dealt with Iten Chevrolet in Brooklyn Center? Guy returned my call and had a price more in line with others on this site, but I didn't get the feeling they do much performance work.

They are actually a GMPP Certified dealer/installer. So if you want stage 1 or 2 and the GMPP exhaust they can order it and do it there. But like I said, I've never purchased from them, so you'd have to experience it on your own.

DO NOT BUY FROM ITEN!!!!!, i hear from an inside source that they are going out of buisness!!
DO NOT BUY FROM ITEN!!!!!, they will try to dick you out of agreements (body work...)
DO NOT BUY FROM ITEN!!!!!, they have bad C S!!!
DO NOT BUY FROM ITEN!!!!!, catch my drift or shall i continue?

also i wouldnt trust the work @ friendly ( ive had work done there in the past but) they go through mechanics like water check the sunday paper, you should see a bunch of adds for mechanic openings for friendly... if they cant keep employes why should they keep customers?

if you were to buy from any dealers i would try walser on 169 and bass lk. rd.

I would definately go try walser then. From my house, it's like a 4-5 mile drive and I live almost on top of Park Center HS.

Great C S there and they aren't going to hassle you (well they didn't me, cuz I was buying a car from them )

Don't worry about the typo Fayzer, we've all done it at one point or anutha!!

I did debadged my Balt like an hour ago.........sooooooooo much cleaner!

DE-BADGED!!! not DE-BAGGED!

I completely missed it. I overslept and was hungover! I didget my CAI/Strut Bar yesterday. I'm happy with my purchase. Makes my car a lot louder (Intake) andI can take turns at a faster rate of speed (Strut bar).

Recommend either one (or both) to any cobalt owner!!!

I have a bar in the front only. I need one in the back now because the front is more sticky on hard corners and the back likes to sway a bit more. Oh by the way, I just installed Magnaflow catback if anybody want's to hear. I'll try to make it to one of these small meets sometime.

The front Strut bar does help a lot like Mike said. Def. added some stability!

With my CAI, it's a helluva lout louder, which means I might not need an exhaust right now, it's loud!!!

I love 2nd and 3rd in the balt with the CAI. Sounds so fukin sweet! 5th is better than what it was, but, it's still 5th gear!!!

Now if twe meet up again this weekend, I'm sure I can make it, as long as I get up and am not hungover!!!

Im gonna start saying it now... Now as for the intake i got an AEM dryflow airfilter on my stock box and i do get quite a bit more noise now... however i am thinkin of getting the full CAI BUT i know you can "suck air through a sewer pipe BUT it makes no diff if your trying to blow throught a straw" catch my drift? so i think itll be exhaust first

yes, back to the 50's is this weekend. i'm going down with the bf and a bunch of friends saturday afternoon, i think we're going boating on the st. croix first though. i think we're gonna wander around then watch the cars on snelling/uni; we were gonna drive around with the rest of the cars but the gp is down for a few weeks, engine is getting too hot. so i'll be down there if anyone wants to meet up. if we dont end up going boating or something like that, i'll be around for the meet.
