hey, quick question for everyone...
what mods could i do without voiding my warranty? when i asked the dealer about it, all i got was "im pretty sure it won't, but i'm not 100% positive"
i wont be able to make it again this weekend... dont worry though, ill drive up within the next one or so.

There's a stickied topic in General Cobalt already, but I'll give you the rundown.
If you do any sort of modification to your vehicle, and take it in for warranty work (granted your car is still under warranty) the dealership has to have definitive proof that the aftermarket part caused the malfunction.
Example: You get a new Catalytic Converter (aftermarket) and it blows up or doesn't work, if you were to take it back to the dealership, you'd almost have to pay for a new cat conv, at the delaership price.
The aftermarket part can only void what it is. Sounds confusing, but I'll simplifiy it. A Magnaflow/Corsa can void your EXHAUST WARRANTY. If you get the GMPP Cat back exhaust, and have it installed at a certified dealer, it won't be voided, since GM certified did it. So if something goes wrong in the engine bay, and all you did was put an exhaust on, the engine would still be covered.
We meet every sat at noon at 610 and Noble Park and Ride. You know where it is, now get your ass up here!!!! jk lol! You make it up here when you can, no rush!

Just so you know just getting the CAI done wont do alot untill you get exhaust... think of it like this your sucking through a sewer pipe and trying to blow through a straw...
not that it isnt a cool first mod, just givin you a heads up.... not sure if your gonna need any extra tuning though... doubt it heh have fun with the CAI
Ok is it worth showing up this weekend if only 2, maybe 3 of us are gonna make it? I mean with the gas prices being all high again ($3.00+).
I think we should try to pick like just 1 Saturday a month untill the group builds up. Whats everyone else think???
