Please Help..in Danger Of Goin Stock
i have thrown a misfire code like once every 2-3 weeks so i gapped the plugs a little smaler each time..then yesterday morning i started my car and it seemed like it would barely run and puting out a whitish/grey smoke..and if i rev, it sounds puttery..Bout to go back to stock because im so tired of all these probs..PLEASE HELP
I'm not a mechanic by no means but I would try putting your stock injectors back in and see what happens. Or just take one thing off at a time and replace with stock again. at least maybe you will find your problem.
yea ron9919 is coming oner today when his lazy ass wakes up...lol..another prob that i could use some serious help with is when i was putting the injector rail and throttle body on i broke a bolt off inside, it is still holding its just they got over tightened and the heads and some of the threads just broke off....how do i get it out and where can i get replacements
Well guys it is not the tune.....I like how people just jump up and say it is the tune. But he was throwing a P0203 code which is Injector #3 control circuit which means 1 of 2 things 1.Injector #3 is bad. 2. A wire on injector harness is smashed and not making a good connection. The reason the car was idleing bad was cause there was too much gap in the spark plugs. I had them gapped at .035 and now they are at .030 seems to run alot better.
I know i had my injctors cleaned on my old mazda, and the white smoke is expected I think....i think the white smoke is the **** that was burnt off/cleaned by the injector cleaner...
but you got an actual "injector 3" error right? I wouldn't count out faulty or failed injector. It is still a semi-mechanical part and **** just fails sometimes. I agree with putting your old injectors back in, you may run a little lean for the day or two you have them in, but you can figure out if it is the injector for sure. Just don't push the car.
Id go buy the bolt you broke too. Not that it makes a difference, i am a believer if it was meant to be bolted down, bolt it down..haha.
peace!
