would this hurt my catback?

ok i have heard that if you leave the resorator off it gives your sound a deeper tone is this true and do you think the installer would leave it off or does it mess witht he catback or should i just leave the whole thing alone?

I agree with the others leave it on, plus the stock resonator is not really restrictive.

i'm assuming you're talking about an aftermarket exhaust, in which case the resonator will actually make it deepre...

yeah in about a week im putting on a magnaflow cat back and ive heard that if you leave it off it gives it a deeper sound and thats what i want is a deeper sound but only if it wont hurt the car!

a resonator can never hurt your car... what it will do is make it sound better. will help eliminate rasp, and give a deeper tone. definitely use one. whoever told you that leaving the resonator off makes a deeper sound has no idea what they were talking about, no offence.
