Strut "Swwooosh" noise over speed bumps?

Hey guys, when I go over a speed bump I hear my strut release gas or something and it makes that swwoosh sound or a sppsh sound, kind of like a blow off valve would make on a stock SRT-4, haha, its the closest thing I can think of.

I am sure you have heard the noise before, is this normal?

its just the oil inside the strut moving through the valves in the strut. no biggie.

I know the shocks in the SS/SC are gas filled... that's what you are hearing... again... it's normal.

So you never go over speed bumps with the windows down and the radio not turned up loud?

I've got a set of speed bumps going into my complex... so I hear it every day.

It's just the strut damping the bump--mine does it all the time over the speed bumps at my apartments. It's perfectly normal.

Yep, it's the shocks metering valve.
