For what application?

Racing? or just for around town driving?

If Racing, then Coilovers.
If not, then springs should do nicely, and save you some $$$

If I had known that suspension work on this car was going to consist of
three sockets and an air ratchet I'd have ponied up for the coilovers.I might still.
I had no idea this platform was so easy to work on.
I put H&R springs on mine and like them but, I wouldnt mind having the adjustability
of the coilover

Not sure how well you would benefit then from a full coilover set up.

But, if you have the $$$ to blow, then might as well.

Springs should be adequit though for round town driving.

lowering springs lead to blown struts, if you get a set of coilovers with adjustable lower mounts that will never happen, because you will retain the full range of motion on the strut. also most good coiloverr kits come with pillowtop mounts so you can adjust the camber and save your tires. my 2 cents

If they salt the roads in your area in the winter you will find the spring perches on coilovers are going to be difficult if not impossible to adjust after a couple of winters...so my vote is just springs.

100% correct! Plus the coilover equiped cars I've ridden in rode like poop. You feel EVERY single bump in the road.

If all you want is lowering - go with springs.

I road race the car, so I want the maximum adjustability possible, plus I want to be able to cornerweight the car and have a custom handling setup for any track I run.
