Thumbs up Take care of your radiator!!

Ok its been that time of the year and for some its always that time. Bugs are flying around so big they make dents, pollen and **** from trees etc is floating around.. You get my point.

Now how many of you neglect to put something to protect your rad?? I'm not talking about a bullet proof vest I'm talking about a piece of screen! Yes that will help protect your rad from collecting all that crap thats flying around and then some. The Cobalt is a great car for doing soo as theres alot of room in between the front fascia and the radiator so installation only takes a few minutes.

Try to get a piece of door screen, some sorta wire, string, even bungy cords(allbeit expensive in the long run if you keep losing them) cover your entire rad!! We all know if the rad gets up that will cause some over heating issues, and don't think some little bug is gonna up your car alot of bugs are going to! So protect your radiator, your engine will thankyou

If my rad was the first in line to get the crap smacked out of it by bigs I think I'd go to this effort but since the condensor is in front I could care less if a big hits it. thats what the hose is for anyways. Spray that stuff off.

Funny you mention hosing your thing off! Don't do it with high pressure as you'll bend the fins and well then 4 sure fucked up your car will be .. Also if you get alot fuzz/ pollen floating around be sure to clean the screen off as it will eventually block your rad, yada yada yada..
