looking for someone in upstate NY that could hook me up with a 60#, 2.8" tune. im more than willing to throw some cash your way, let me know guys

 

how far away are you from poughkeepsie.. or how far would you be from nyc if you dont know where poughkeepsie is.... i only ask because i am meeting ron for a tune idk where yet but its proly going to be central jersey or a little farther south if u want to take the trip with me.. just a suggestion

 

Im gonna say about 1 1/2-2 hours Poughkeepsie and about 2 1/2-3 for NYC. Im 30 mins north of Albany.

 

hmmm well honestly thats not a horrible drive... i know there is very veryyy few people around us that do it... actually i think its like 2 ppl.. lol but im going soon (i havent set a date yet) and having ron9919 tune up my 2.6 an 60#ers so if u wanna role down there with me im all for that... he lives in maryland but ill see if he can help us out an drive farther north to meet him.. hes a cool guys so he probly will... tho i was thinking of taking a day trip to BWoody.... but i doubt it.. lemme know man ill tell ron about it

 

just give me an idea of a idea on im 12 hour shift work so we might have to work this out a few weeks in advance

 

haha well i have after 230 on saturday ( but there is a car show i am going to enter at 530... sunday free monday im going to the dyno for my buddies insane GSX umm tuesday after 130 wensday nothing at all thursday after 130 cant friday saturday after 230 an sunday all day an monday all day.... an so on lol fill in the blanks an we can make it happen lol ron said whenever so were pretty free on it i guess

 

well it gonna be like 2 weeks for me... im on shift work 12 hour days so its kinda of hard for me. this up coming week im putting in the clutch, flywheel and axles but after that ill have 3 free days 20th, 21st and 22nd. if u can wait that long im free 3 days.

 

ehh if things do go that welll this wekeend then that will b fine if i dont have time to get the h/e on then i will say yae ill wait till then but its been a long time coming a few things will decide that haha.... tho i may need to go back there for a retune with a couple other things around that time so ill b down to go!!

 

just keep me updated cause that is the soonest i can make it

yeah couldnt hook up though i wanted to get into the 13's

ill think about it, atleast its another option

 

That gives me hope. No one has had luck running good times at Lebannon. I should be mid to low 13's w/ my car as is; however, that track seems to be an issue for FWD cars to get traction...

 

well not to be cocky but ive seen some other SS/SC there and most of them couldnt drive worth ****. traction is only 1/2 the problem its knowing how to drive when u dont have it. everyone i saw was either dumping the clutch and bogging down, or letting off to fast and spinning/ wheelhop. just takes some time to get used to it. you just have to feather the gas, and clutch through first and even when the clutch is out you still need to be easy on the gas untill you hit 2nd. bout all the advice i can give you for now.

sounds good to me maryland would have been a long ass drive. ill let you know
