Ingalls Torque Dampner and Warranty

For those of you who have the Ingalls ETD, have you had any problems from your local GM dealer when they saw it, regarding your warranty. I'm really interested in getting one of these but I also love my warranty amd don't want to have any hassles from my dealer when I bring it in for service.

i have gone into my dealer about many things, with all my mods on and they never say anything to me, it depends on your dealer, my dealer is awsome and says nothing about anything and just does the warrenty work, like yesterday, i brought it in for the idle being funny they said ok, heard it, saw everything and didnt care

haven't had a problem with my dealer but i'm friends with one of the techs and the service manager so i get away with a lot.

i did see a wrecked ss/sc there and the ingalls literally destroyed the chassis and motor mount. and got pushed into the strut tower crushing it and the idler pully. it was quite impressive. my tech buddy says "better not hit anyone with that thing installed"

I would laugh if my dealership wanted to void my warranty because of the Ingalls.
It helps keep your motor mounts in good shape. It's a good thing. Kind of helps with wheel hop too.

Anyone know where the cheapest place is to get one of these, preferably someone that ships to Canada.

Thanks

I have never had a problem with mine. I had the dealership ask me about it one time, and I told them about it basically. I said it relieves the stress on the motor mount when running higher horsepower such as stage 2. Getting rid of wheelhop is a by product of the motor not moving so much because of the stock mounts. (of course you should never tell a dealership you got it specifically to get rid of wheelhop because technically you shouldn't be running the car that hard... ) Most dealerships I have been to are very cool with mods, especially if you throw a little of the work to them here and there.

Have had mine installed forever, and have had the car serviced a few times. The tech. I have service the car has never said anything about it, or the INTENSE mps, or anything. It all depeneds on the dealership, and who you know.

If you can form some sort of a friendship with a tech. then you should be fine. Just don't go in there and willingly point modifications out on your vehicle, or talk like its the best thing to hit the street, and you should be alright.
