Tire help

Hey guys, I have a set of almost new winter tires 215/60/15 just sitting in my garage.. I was wondering if they would fit on my G5 ? My current tire size is 195/60/15.

Depending on your wheel offset, I'd say yes. The ss/sc guys come stock with 215/45/18 and some guys up here have fit up 235's...

Don't trust me though, wait for an LS/LT guy to come in.

well it should be ok
you'll just have a little bit of an extra lip...it shoudlnt rub either. my biggets concern woudl be the tire rubbing in the front either when you turn the wheel sharply or hit a bumb. best thing you could do is try it.

I'm running p205/60r16 winters. They rub on hard turns. Your size is going to be 1/2 inch taller than my size. I'd say you might rub quit a bit.

No, I meant half an inch taller if you sat each tire side by side. When you run the numbers through a tire size calculator, that's what you get.

The 10mm in width isn't enough to effect anything on it's own.

Use a tire size calc. I can't help you to much with the G5 car tires and wheels. As for the SS/Sc I think some people fit a 245/35/19 already.

if you have a 205/60 then the height is 60% of 205 mm. 215/60 will be a liitle taller b/c its now 60% of 215, not 205. what is 60% of 10 mm? 6 mm...there is ur answer.
