So myself and Derek (forgot his sn) were at the decal shop picking up our car club decals, and i decided to have them lay vinyl in the white part of the SS emblems. It only costed me $20 and I'm super happy with it.

some fucktard guy who lives near me....who hates my guts for no apparent reason, obviously called me in to the bylaw guys....cuz i got pulled over doing the speedlimit the other day...wondering wtf did I do.

guy comes up to my window and tells me he has had a complaint about my loud exhaust.
(I have GMPP catback...stock header/dp)
i give him a shocked look like WTF are you talkin about....
I tell him id gladly show him the reciept for the GM factory product, fully legal right from the manufacturer.
so he asks me to start it up.....it puuurrrrrs nicely. he gives me a funny look, and says hmmmm thats not very loud is it (obviously he was expecting a weedeater fartcan)

so he tells me to juice it a bit.
I give it a few shots....
he shakes his head....I tell him maybe he should have a chat to the local 4x4 lifted trucks running downpipes out the side who are audible from about 5 miles away....
or maybe the harleys....

he basically agreed, and knew that it was a bullshit complaint.


exhaust laws are a ****** joke.
I know 3500diesels who IDLE louder than my car could ever get.

 

well, my car is loud, but, there were louder cars out there. Especially derek's, he's runnin a 3" exhaust on his balt, and its crazy loud. But w/e, its a 100 dollar ticket that i can go to court for. I'm gonna throw in the silencer that came with it when I go to court, and then we'll see what they say.

 

Looks good. I done this a couple of months ago and it really cleaned up the car. It looks much better than the original white.

 

Badges look good man. Whenever I go through road checks with my GMPP catback I just tell them thats the way it came even though it didn't. They cannot prove me wrong since GM is written all over the exhaust. VA laws suck.
