Fire up your weed wacker and it should sound something like that . You should really be looking for a Borla sound clip whenever they actually decide to release our exhaust.

Are you using Firefox or netscape browser? I use firefox and it doesnt work with it for whatever reason. It should work no problem with Internet Explorer though.

for those of you that like firefox try using maxthon instead. It allows you to work like firefox but gives you Internet Explorer functionality. Don't worry it's free unless you wanna donate

Put the same exhaust on any 4 cyl and they will sound just about the same.

Its not the "brand" of car that creates a certain sound. Its the size of the engine.

The WRX Sti is 4 cyl and sounds totally different. You can make the sound deeper and more rich , but you cannot make it more throaty , only adding more cyl's does that.

Also is it just me or does anyone else notice that although Borla's tend to post some of lowest gains among manufacture's they constantly get rave followings from some tuners. Do some homework you will see Vibrant & Magnaflow gets some of the most cosistent gains on stock cars. I love the sound of Borlas though and I hope it doesnt sound like I am dissin; them cause I am not. They make a kick ass product. Anyone have any Dynos for the 2006 SS/SC? . I saw this happen in the Mazda 3 cicuit. Everyone raves about borla but dynos clearly indicate Vibrant is #1 and MAgna' #2 in gains. I then checked several other 4cyl sites and found the same. Try it.

honda meaning, some guy who hacked off his muffler so he would qualify for the V-TEC vinyl to go on his front winshield...

and if you dont wanna sound like a honda buy a borla exhaust...

Funny, I saw a Honda Civic SIR at lunch last week with a Borla, sounded pretty good actually. Then I heard my Mazda 3 with the Magnaflow and it sounded even better. Doesnt sound anything like a 1.5 Vtec. Maybe that may have something to do with it being a bigger engine and having VVT. To each thier own, to me all 4cyls will sound a bit farty.

CobaltBurst your post really isnt making to much sense to be honest, I know you can do better than that.... Why are you ripping Hondas so much ? Especially when you would get walked by most of them out there...

You have domestic cars with foriegn parts and foreign cars with domestic parts nowdays , so many things have become conveluted who cares, just buy what you wanna buy man.

Look at the SC , Engine is Opel Vauxhall and the Tranny is Fiat.... the badging is chevy.
So your not interested in horsepower as much as you are the brand you chose but yet your slamming ricers J/K

I just answered a watered down blanket statement with a watered down blanket response. You get back what you put in around here'

The point being made was that any 4cyl with a Magnaflow sounds like a Vtec and that ALL 4's sound the same. I disagreed. If you re read the threads you will see that your basically confirming my point my friend.

A turbo makes a completely different sound. If you want to get a good, deep sound out of an N/A or supercharged car you can't have the exhaust be too loud or sometimes you can find the right resonator to deepen the tone.
