A few pics of my GS500F

Here's a few pics of my new toy that I picked up last month. So far I have about 1k miles on it and I start my MSF course tomorrow.

Nice bikes! damn I'm so fiending to grab a bike! What's a good starter bike? like something cheaper/slower and crappier than those bikes u guys posted. I'm looking for something cheap yet fun and without the whole sport/race bike label to avoid insurance ownage.

The GS500 actually fits into that category. Forgiving and easy to learn on. I had never ridden a motorcycle before I got mine. Insurance is very reasonable too. I paid $250 for the year for full coverage. It also helps being 25 years old.

Absolutely gorgeous bike. I hope to have a GSXR 600 in 2-3 years.

Yeah 250 a year for the bike is dirt ass cheap...I'd be lucky to pay that for a week's worth or insurance! Keep in mind I"m 25 too but it doesn't really matter cause up here in Ontario, Canada, insurance companies get away with highway robbery and charge up the ass for auto insurance.

Ya, insureance wise, I was amazed at the difference from last year when I looked and was 24 to this year being 25. My car insurance went down, but not nearly as drastically as the bike quotes.
